As per the rule 98 under the section 59 a company which is already registered with trademark can be changed for the requirements. While doing such alteration on the registered trademark there is a process of preparing 5 copies of modified part and it should be submitted along with the Trademark application on form TM 58.
Section 59(1) reveals that the change in trademark should not affect the concerned trademark. So the nature of change made to the trademark will help to know the identity of trademark to check whether it is drastically affected or not.
